Fiat 126 Bis 1989

The Fiat 126 is a city car introduced in October 1972 at the Turin Motor Show as a replacement for the now legendary Fiat 500. The Fabryka Samochodów Małolitrażowych (known with acronym FSM) was a Polish car factory born from an agreement between the FSO and Fiat in the 1970s for the construction of a new model, the Polski Fiat 126p, a Polish version of the Fiat 126. For the project, a new manufacturing plant was opened in Tychy and was active between 1972 and 1991 when it was privatised and Fiat Group took control.
