Ferrari 456M GTA 1999 |
Ferrari’s front-engine grand tourer, the 456, was introduced in 1992 as a replacement for the mid-engined Mondial, the company’s only four-seat car in production. The original 456 was available in GT and, from 1996, GTA forms. The GT featured a six-speed manual gearbox, whilst the GTA was fitted with a four-speed automatic. The Pininfarina-designed Ferrari had pleasing and aesthetic flowing lines and was generally regarded as the most beautiful car produced at Maranello for some time.
Powered by a 442-horsepower engine and with a top speed of 186 mph, the 456M GTA was a modern interpretation of Ferrari’s traditional 2+2, and it offered everyday practicality along with tremendous performance, handling, and agility.

Adjustable steering, air conditioning, and superb in-car entertainment added to the driver-friendly appeal of the car.
The 456M GTA presented here has had just one owner since 1999, when it was delivered new by Concessionaria Radicci in Bari. Given the effortless driving characteristics of the GTA, it is perhaps unsurprising that this Ferrari was used regularly for the owner’s commute.
