Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 1992 |
The Alfa Romeo 155 Q4 was a very limited production model. It featured a 2.0 litre Garrett T3 turbocharged engine and a permanent four-wheel drive powertrain that was derived from the rally bred Lancia Delta Integrale. It was the fastest of all the road-going 155 models. The four-wheel drive system comprises of three differentials, a conventional one at the front, a central epicyclic unit and a Torsen self locking differential at the rear. On the road this translates into rally car driving and handling characteristics, with a 47/53 distribution of power favouring spirited corner taking. Only 16 examples were sold new to the UK, all in left-hand drive.
