The Volkswagen Beetle needs little introduction, occupying as it does, a significant position in the minds and hearts of a mobile global audience from as far back as 1938 with over 21 million manufactured. It certainly was, as it was aptly named 'The People's Car',and becamethe longest-running and most manufactured car of a single design platform anywhere in the world.
