The VW van has evolved to achieve ‘cult status' to the point where brand new ones are being supplied to the market for sums up to £30,000. Always associated with "surfers" these original vans are still a most practical "classic" proposition, and with many active and highly supportive clubs, you could be off doing something every weekend with perfect peace of mind as regards spares supply and mechanical back-up. The Champagne editions of certain Volkswagen models were special sales campaigns run by Volkswagen in 1977 and 1978 featuring limited edition colours and interiors.
